Wellington Regional Healthy Housing Group (WRHHG)

WRHHG develops creative and scaled solutions to Wellington region’s poor housing quality through our collaborative cross-sectoral leadership.

We operate through a collective impact model and commit to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, working in partnership to reduce housing and housing-related health inequities.

Activities

WRHHG membership covers diverse elements of the pathway to healthy housing for all – service provision, policy and regulation, funding, research, advocacy, education.  A coordinated approach brings better results.

Research

Quality data is essential for well-informed strategies and interventions.  WRHHG aims to increase access to existing research and we commission our own research to address gaps and identify solutions.

Our Members

Our members include central government departments, local councils, district health boards and Regional Public Health, as well as research, social outreach, health and community organisations.
